Getting Here

Getting to Nanuya Island Resort is an integral part of your Fijian holiday experience.

Flying in by Seaplane provides awesome views over tranquil, crystal blue waters, while arriving (or departing) by catamaran provides an insight into the many islands and resorts along the way. To truly experience the Yasawa Islands we recommend flying in and cruising out (or vice versa).

The details on both options are below.

Catamaran Transfer

The Yasawa Flyer departs daily from Denarau Marina (Nadi) at 8.30am and is a large high speed, modern catamaran with air-conditioned seating, a travel desk, licensed bar, café and outdoor viewing decks.

The journey to Nanuya Island Resort takes around 5 hours with arrival at 1.45pm. The Yasawa Flyer stops along the way at scenic channels and bays, picking up and dropping off tourists. It’s a magical way to experience this legendary island group.

Should you return to Nadi from Nanuya Island Resort, the Yasawa Flyer departs around 1.45 and gets back to Denarau Marina at 5.45pm.

Seaplane Transfer

There is probably no more iconic, romantic or nostalgic way to arrive at Nanuya Island Resort, than by Seaplane (or Float Plane). The view as you sweep in over the blue lagoon and land in the serene waters off Nanuya will stay with you forever.

There are two operators offering this experience, both with daily flights ex Nadi.

The flight itself takes only around 30 minutes and you’ve arrived at our friendly and welcoming Resort.
